Our brand upholds the larger University branding while expanding upon it with elements specific to Information Technology Services.

Establishing a brand for UNC ITS shapes the way our users perceive our services.

  • Branding ITS services creates a recognizable presence on campus, establishing a consistent identity and voice for ITS and elevating the credibility of our communications and services.
  • An identifiable brand supports security awareness. When a user receives communications that are clearly identifiable as ITS branded, they will trust the security and validity of the message.
  • Applying branding to ITS-owned websites and applications increases accessibility. Continuity of interfaces and navigation facilitates the ease of finding information quickly.
