Creating a New Social Media Account

Programs and units within ITS are welcome to create their own social media accounts. Please know that social accounts are held to the same brand standard as other print and web communication pieces. As such, we suggest you visit the Downloadable Resources section of the UNC-Chapel Hill Identity Guide to utilize its free resources, including Twitter and Facebook profile photos.

Official ITS social accounts

It is imperative that we know all of the accounts that exist on social media representing ITS. This is beneficial for two reasons: (1) It enables us to spot check for consistency in the brand, and (2) It lets other active social networkers among us (both for professional and personal use) know who to follow, retweet and engage with.
